Mr. Bob Benson, a noted woodcarver, has frequently travelled in my van
heading to Big Sandy to catch a freight train. Mr. Benson is pictured here in the Big Sandy
shanty just prior to boarding a train on July 27, 1999. He is a railroad conductor who has bumped elbows
with the rich and famous.
